gah I’m going to sound like such a ninny, and I’m quite sure none of you will read this… anyway…

as I’m sure many of you know, I’m in my final year of high school this year, and how I do in year 12 will ultimately affect what I’ll end up doing next year in university. myself (and many others I’m sure) would like to think that blogging will help me get through, but in reality, it’s been serving as more of a distraction. lately I’ve had to take a step back and realise how out of whack my life has gotten in the past little while, and as Ron so famously said in Harry Potter, “she really needs to sort out her priorities!”, and this precisely is what I plan to do.

I’ve been to the doctor tonight, and whilst he’s assured me that it’s just a virus, I’m having some blood tests done in the next couple of days to see if I have any forms of glandular fever, etc. etc., and that I need to rest up and get well. as much as I hate to say it, procrastination really isn’t going to get me anywhere, and in the end, I’ll only end up more stressed.

so I guess what I’m trying to say is, I won’t be on for a little while, whilst I try and get back on track and focus on what’s really important.
